Rua navigates between two worlds that she has spent her whole life nurturing and transforming. Strong in business and process world for the last 15 years, she is building a foundation that will support her mission to be in service and create and make a new way of being with her community.
Two years ago she began calling herself a bridgewalker. She has a gift of bridging the gap between the technical and the creative, the artistic and the logical. Recently she has begun to see how her gift can support her passion of art, technology and a healed and healthy human community and world.
She never knew a time when she did not create. She studied graphic design in California, managing a university art gallery along with her studies and found a love for the human form through life drawing classes. She took her education to Portland and learned the intense trade of high-design graphics production and software development. Her passions drew her into event production, BurningMan theme camp organization, art grant writing, and learning to weld.
Currently, by day, she manages technology and processes for a large brand marketing team. Evenings and weekends, she is dedicated to building Bridgewalkers, creating CirceLux and supporting Convergence Network and other alliances.
